In case people do become a victim of Internet fraud, banks have been generous in their reimbursements, so far, as they want Internet banking to succeed in the future.

Nowadays, there are banks that solely exist online. However, the downsides of those banks are that it can be hard to wire cash money to those accounts, and also to keep fees at ATMs low, as they usually do not own any of those ATM machines themselves.
